DELUXE PORK LOIN ROAST 
1 pork loin (whole or half)

DONALD'S SPECIAL RUB:

1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. crushed red pepper
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. white pepper
1/2 tsp. tarragon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. ground thyme
1/2 tsp. ground marjoram
1/2 tsp. rosemary
1/2 tsp. whole basil

Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix seasonings together and set aside.

Wash pork loin with water, pat dry with paper towels, spray with non-stick cooking spray (Pam), place in roasting pan, fat side up and rub with seasoning mixture.

Place in oven and bake at 350°F uncovered until inside temperature reaches 165°F on meat thermometer, cover and let stand for 20 minutes, slice and serve.

Never understood why folks wash and dry roasts prior to prep? Any possible bacteria (unlikely in this day and age) would certainly be destroyed during cooking. Just seems a waste of time and paper towels.
