SKOR TOFFEE CHOCOLATE BARS
3/4 cup butter
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 (300 ml) can sweetened condensed milk (Eagle brand)
2 tbsp butter (butter)
1 (300 g) pkg Chipits milk chocolate chips
1 (225 g) pkg Chipits Skor toffee bits

Preheat oven to 350F degrees.

Cream first 3 ingredients until well blended and mixture comes together. Press evenly into a 9X13 cake pan.

Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes, or until light golden.

Cool on wire rack while preparing filling.

Heat sweetened condensed milk and 2 tbsp butter in heavy saucepan, stirring constantly over medium heat for 5-10 minutes, or until thickened. Spread over baked base.

Bake 12-15 minutes longer, or until golden.

Sprinkle Chipits milk chocolate chips evenly over top. Bake 2 minutes more, or until chocolate is shiny and soft.

Remove from oven. Spread chocolate evenly.

Sprinkle Skor Toffee Bits on top, pressing lightly into chocolate.

Cool completely. If necessary, chill just to set chocolate before cutting into bars.

Store at room temperature.

Freezing: Excellent.

Good, but do not leave in the refrigerator more than a few hours. Very hard crust. Excellent if your craving chocolate.

Awesome recipe, but no need to heat sweetened condensed milk with butter. Just pour the can over the hot crust.

Oh my!!! These are so good! I made them exactly as the recipe states and they were a HUGE hit in my home. Definitely be making these again. The crust was chewy and perfect with the condensed milk over the top. DELICIOUS!!

This can be made with gluten free flour, which makes this a good gluten-free dessert.

I make these every year, sometimes 4 or 5 batches! They have become my family's favorite. Thank goodness they are "user friendly". Happy Holidays!

These bars are a favorite in Christmas cooking every year. Great with a little ice cream. I had too much one year, and did not feel so hot next day - very rich, but DELICIOUS!
