I liked it. I added a little purple onion to the meat when I browned along with salt, pepper, season all salt and a little garlic powder. I did not add chili powder and I only used one and a 1/2 can of tomato sauce. I also used penne rigata noodles. Quick, easy and good.

This recipe is even better if you ditch the chili powder and use Paula Deen's half ketchup half mustard sauce (about half a cup total to season a pound of meat)- I too added garlic powder and then mixed it with prepared macaroni and cheese- added shredded cheese and bread crumbs to top (shake the bread crumbs in a ziploc bag with butter to get the full southern experience!) and voila! A dish that smells terrific and tastes super homemade!

I used garlic powder, seasoned salt and black pepper instead of the chili powder. With pasta sauce and large shells. I used Cabot cheese that I cut up myself from a block. Also added 1 giant sautéed Vidalia onion before the turkey to give it that extra flavor. My recipe is better, try it.
