BAKED PORK TENDERLOIN 
2 or 3 pork tenderloins
1 stalk celery, chopped
1 onion, chopped
a sprinkling of garlic powder
1 env. beef mushroom soup mix
1 1/2 c. water

Season pork tenderloin and roll in flour. Brown on all sides in butter or oil. Remove to baking dish. Sprinkle pork lightly with garlic powder. Lightly brown celery and onion in drippings.

Mix soup mix with 1 1/2 cups water. Pour in frying pan over onion and celery, then pour over tenderloins.

Cover and bake 1 1/2 to 2 hours at 350°F.

Delicious Au Jus.

I bought the pork tenderloin BOGO free and knew I had a good recipe that I had not made in a few years. When I found the recipe it had the date 9-23-07 printed on the bottom of it. Why I let this delicious recipe sit for so long is a mystery. I seasoned the pork with onion powder and salt and used Lipton dry onion soup mix. Next time I will not use the salt (the soup mix has enough salt). The au jus is great and the pork is fork tender. Love, love, love this, I will be moving it to the front of the recipe book.

I only have one tenderloin, but I'll cut back the extras. I like carrots and will use the baby potatoes. Wish me luck...

I used the canned soup I had on hand.. Beef Consomme' and Cream of Mushroom w/Roasted Garlic. Did not add water or dry soup mix and the gravy made itself! This was by far the best pork I have ever prepared . A new favorite and so easy!
