“SHARA'S PRETZEL TOFFEE-CHIP COOKIES” IS IN:

SHARA'S PRETZEL TOFFEE-CHIP
COOKIES
 
1-1/4 cups flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
3/4 cup butter, room temperature
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups mini-pretzels, broken into 1" pieces
1 1/4 cups semisweet chocolate chips
3/4 cup toffee bits, such as Heath brand toffee

Preheat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper. In small bowl, combine flour and baking soda.

In a large bowl with mixer on medium-high speed, beat butter and sugar until fluffy. On low speed, beat in egg and vanilla. Beat in flour mix. Stir in pretzel pieces, 1 cup chocolate chips, and 1/2 cup toffee bits.

Drop dough by rounded tbsp, 2-inches apart onto baking sheets. With moist hands, flatten slightly. Dividing equally, press remaining chocolate chips and toffee bits into dough.

Bake 15-18 minutes or until lightly browned.

I made these except browned the butter first. I Let the butter cool and once it was back to room temp, made the recipe as written. The cookies turned out very well. Thank you!
