2 cups roast turkey chunks
2 cups well-seasoned mashed sweet potatoes
1/2 cup sweetened dried cranberries (optional)
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 1/2 cups plain applesauce
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon grated lemon peel
1/2 cup crushed cornflakes

Combine sweet potatoes and brown sugar. Season potatoes with salt and pepper to taste.

Line a greased 9-inch pie plate with potato mixture. Spread turkey, cranberries, and applesauce. Sprinkle with nutmeg and lemon peel in the potato crust. Sprinkle cornflakes over top.

Bake in a preheated 375°F oven for 20 minutes or until lightly browned on top.
