NEXT RECIPE:  THE GREAT WING SAUCE

THE BEST HOT WING SAUCE EVER!
1/4 cup ketchup
1 bottle FRANK'S® Red Hot Sauce
6 tbsp. (3/4 stick) butter
2 tablespoons minced garlic (more or less for your taste)
1 1/2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons brown sugar

In a large bowl mix hot sauce and ketchup together, set aside. In a large saucepan melt butter and garlic and simmer until fragrant. Add Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, and brown sugar; simmer for 2 minutes. Do not let boil.

Carefully add the butter mixture to the hot sauce and ketchup and stir. No more cooking is needed -- this will thin out the sauce.

Toss with baked or deep fried wings and serve with blue cheese or Ranch... Enjoy

Want to make this soooooooo bad. But what size bottle should I use? I've seen 3 differrent size bottles. So please tell me b/c this recipe sounds and looks entirely too easy and tasty not to make. Thanx.

Hi I am sorry I failed to put the bottle size, I think its 16 oz. (the medium size), if you are making a larger order bump it up to the 20 oz. size, use 1/2 cup of ketchup and the entire sick plus two teaspoons of butter.

Excellent recipe and you can build off of it too. I opted for a little more brown sugar in mine but the recipe is a hit for sure. Thank you!!

I tried the hot wing recipe and it was great! My brother the cook loved them as well. I subbed herb & garlic sprinkles for the garlic cloves and cut recipe in half. Next time I'll add a teaspoon of Parmesan cheese for added zest but it does not need anything.

Addictive! Great for wings, tenders, bean soup. I was heavy on the hot sauce cause we like it really hot, but OMG, this is amazing.

This was definitely a good recipe... I made it this evening & everybody loved it... I usually just use hot sauce & butter, but I like the little extra kick the other ingredients gave it....

This is the only wing sauce recipe I will use, and everyone who tries it asks for the recipe. I only add more brown sugar for my taste. The recipe is outstanding and authentic. Thanks E.Lee for posting it.

Wife just lost her job so we're not eating out as much. So no more little trips out for wings and beer. Thought I'd look into making it at home. Holy crap! Where have been all my life!?!? Wish I'd never bothered going anywhere! Best hot wing sauce...period!

Really good! I used about 1/4 cup of brown sugar and grilled the wings. After tossing in sauce I cranked the heat up and put the wings back on for a minute per side. I then put half back in the sauce and served the rest as they were. Awesome!!
