1 Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
1 lg. can crushed pineapple
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
2 c. sugar
1 sm. box vanilla instant pudding
4 bananas
1 lg. Cool Whip
1 c. chopped coconut, cherries & pecans

Bake cake according to directions on box substituting water with milk. Cook crushed pineapples with 2 cups of sugar; bring to a boil.

When cake is done, take wooden spoon handle and punch holes in top of cake. Take mixture of pineapples and sugar and pour over cake; let cool 10 to 15 minutes.

Prepare pudding as directed and add cream cheese. Pour mixture of pudding over cake and pineapples. Refrigerate until pudding is firm.

Slice bananas over pudding. Top with Cool Whip. Decorate with cherries, coconut and pecans.
