HAMBURGER UPSIDE-DOWN CASSEROLE 
1/2 lb. bacon
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
2 medium onions, sliced
1 lb. carrots, sliced
2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
5 to 6 potatoes, sliced
salt and pepper, to taste
1 can cream of mushroom soup

Cover bottom of casserole dish with bacon slices. Press ground beef on top of bacon. Follow with sliced onions and carrots. Sift flour over the carrots and add sliced potatoes. Season with salt and pepper. Pour cream of mushroom soup over the top. Cover and bake at 375°F for 1 1/2 hours or until vegetables are tender.
