HI KIELBASA (HAWAIIAN) | |
1 lg. ring Kielbasa 1 lb. bacon 1 can pineapple chunks or crushed 1 can or bag sauerkraut 3/4 c. brown sugar 2 tbsp. flour 1. Partially cook kielbasa, 1/2 inch slices. 2. Cook bacon, crunchy - save 2-3 tablespoons grease. 3. In large frying pan burn the grease and flour - add brown sugar and pineapple. Drain and wash sauerkraut and add. Simmer, stirring occasionally for 1/2hour. Add kielbasa and bacon (make sure bacon is crunched into little pieces). Let simmer 1/2 hour. 4. Great on rolls or as a side dish at picnics. Applesauce may be used in place of pineapple. Serves 4-6. |
