“BBQ PORK SPARE RIBS” IS IN:

BBQ PORK SPARE RIBS 
2 lb. pork spare ribs
1 onion

SAUCE:

1 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/3 c. water
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. red pepper
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. chili powder
1/3 c. ketchup

Place spareribs (meat side down) in roasting pan. tear away any silverskin or membrane from meat.

Cover meat with thinly sliced onion. Pour sauce over meat. Cover and bake at 350°F for 1 1/2 hours or until tender.

During the last 10 minutes of cooking, remove cover to "brown up" the top slightly or gently boil ribs for 1/2 hour, then roast as above for 1 hour.

This was an awesome recipe and the sauce that goes along with it was delicious. I doubled the recipe and opted to boil the ribs for a half hour and roast for 1 hr (checking them in a thermometer)...they came out perfect. I'm going to use the sauce to make pulled pork sandwiches using my crock pot. Should be pretty tasty.

i prepared this before and it was the best. today i ran out of worcestershire so i substituted oyster sauce. for those with access to Filipino stores, use Jufran banana catsup. i added half a cup of brown sugar. the extra sweetness reminds me of TGIFriday's baby back ribs. yum!
