JELLO SHOTS
3 boxes (3 oz. each) Jello containing sugar 2-1/2 cups vodka 3-1/3 cups water Bring the water to a boil and remove from heat. Slowly stir in the Jello until dissolved. Wait 3 minutes, then stir in the vodka. Pour into individual shot-size cups and freeze. Variations: Try using one part flavored liquor to one part vodka (such as coconut rum, mint, blackberry, etc.) - match the color and flavor of the Jello being used! Submitted by: CM

I make vodka jello shots with sugarfree flavored syrup and sparkling flavored calorie free waters for added flavor. Plus I only use sugarfree jello and sweeten it with Splenda, cuts down considerably on the calories.

I make jello shots all the time for certain events. Everyone loves them. I make lime jello shots with tequila. Pineapple & watermelon with rum. And I make several variations Cherry, Strawberry-Banana with vodka. I even did some with fireball. GOOD!

I made a jello shot birthday cake by spraying the mould then pouring layers of different shot combinations, one at a time after the layer before it set in the fridge. I just left my other shot mixes at room temp till I was ready for them or made them up as I went. It started of as a way to use it up when I ran out of little cups. Using tonic water is a great idea... We are allowed to run our own stills out here.

It is sad that a recipe with so many reviews is for Jello shots! Alcohol has no positive attributes. I think Cooks.com should remove this so called recipe. Also appears many could benefit from AA!!! Join MADD... or similar.
