CRANBERRY CHUTNEY 
2 c. cranberries
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. chopped apple
1/2 c. water
1/4 c. coarsely chopped walnuts
2 tbsp. finely snipped ginger or 1 tbsp. ginger powder
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. onion salt
1/4 tsp. cloves, ground

In a large saucepan, combine cranberries, brown sugar, raisins, celery, apple, water, walnuts, ginger, lemon juice, onion salt and cloves.

Bring to boiling, stirring constantly. Simmer, uncovered, 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Store, covered, in the refrigerator. Serve chilled. Makes 3 cups.
