“EASY DUMPLINGS” IS IN:
NEXT RECIPE:  EASY HOMEMADE NOODLES

EASY DUMPLINGS 
2 cups flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons butter
3/4 cup milk

Combine ingredients. Drop by teaspoonfuls on top of boiling stew.

Cover tightly and steam for 12 minutes.

Variation: A few teaspoons of finely chopped fresh parsley may be added to batter.

Dumplings can be a little blah. I added some Parmesan and garlic powder to give it more taste. the next time I added some cheddar shreds that was great too. Both times I added some chicken soup base mix. It really perks up the flavor. soup base is salty to cut back on salt in original recipe.

Absolutely fabulous. Made a get well basket for neighbor, included, banana muffins, rolls, tea, and chicken n dumplings like Mama used to make. After all these years may finally have done better than Mama!!! Now have all neighbors feigning illness just for some. Absolutely AWESOME

I have a dumpling recipe that I normally use. One day in a hurry, I googled dumplings and found this recipe. I don't eat dumplings, but my family likes them, and they liked these dumplings. (If they are happy, I am happy, so this is win-win). I will use this recipe again!
