RHUBARB CRISP | |
2 c. brown sugar 2 c. shortening 2 c. oatmeal 2 c. flour 1 c. white sugar Cinnamon to taste 8 c. rhubarb Mix first four ingredients until crumbly. Set aside 1/3 of mixture. Press into a 9"x13" pan. Put in 8 cups of rhubarb. Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon over rhubarb. Place rest of crumbly mixture over rhubarb. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until a golden brown in color. For an 8"x8" pan, use 1 cup each for mixture. Use 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon to taste over 4 cups rhubarb. |
