1 box yellow cake mix 1 egg, beaten 1 stick butter 1 tsp. vanilla 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese 1 lb. powdered sugar 2 eggs Combine cake mix, egg and butter. Press into ungreased 9 x 13 inch pan. Mix vanilla, cream cheese, powdered sugar and 2 eggs. Spread over top of crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 55 minutes. | |

The directions for this recipe were ambiguous at best. is the butter to be softened or cut in to the cake mix. (I slightly softened it then cut it in and it seemed to work. How many cups are in 1 lb of powdered sugar? (3 1/2-4). And I found out that 55 minutes is WAY to long to bake this dessert. I would give it 40 minutes. Besides that, it tastes pretty good.
