EASIEST SHRIMP SCAMPI
1 lb. raw shrimp
enough pasta for two (I like linguini but its your choice)
seasoned salt, to taste (Lawry's)
garlic powder, to taste
chili powder, to taste
2 tbsp. butter
lemon or lime juice (I like lime juice)
freshly cracked pepper (to be added at the table)

Peel and de-vein shrimp setting them in a bowl. Put a pot of pasta water on to boil. Season the shrimp with seasoning salt, garlic powder and a bit of chili powder. Stir and set aside. When the water boils, salt the water and add the pasta. Cook according to package directions.

In a frying or sauté pan add butter, garlic powder and a bit more chili powder. Melt together over medium heat. When the butter is melted turn the heat to medium-high and add the shrimps, only cooking for a minute on one side. Flip each over and cook for an additional minute. Turn the heat to low, add a bit of pasta water (only a few tablespoons) to the shrimp to make a little sauce.

Drain the pasta put on a plate, pour shrimp over and enjoy with some crusty bread to soak up all that yummy sauce!

Serves 2.
