MONKEY BREAD 
1 (1 lb.) loaf frozen bread dough
1 stick butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. chopped pecans (optional)

After bread is thawed, cut into 20 pieces (any shape). Melt butter. Mix cinnamon, sugar and pecans in bowl. Dip pieces of dough into melted butter, then in cinnamon mixture. Stack alternately in tube or bundt pan. cover and put in warm place; let rise until double, 1 to 3 hours. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.

Immediately after baking, turn out on a plate while warm.

TIPS: Frozen dough may be purchased in a package containing 5 (1 pound) rolls of dough. This bread may be baked without the cinnamon mixture. Monkey bread freezes well; wrap in tin foil to heat. Serves 8 to 10.
