THE BEST EVER SMITH ISLAND CRAB CAKES | |
1 lb. crab meat, backfin 3 tbsp. flour 2 tbsp. mayonnaise 1 tbsp. mustard 1 egg 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce Parsley, chopped or flaked Beat the egg, and add other ingredients except crab meat. Pick over meat to remove all shells. Add to the batter mixture. Mix lightly and form into desired cake or balls. Drop into deep fat and fry until golden brown. Drain and serve. |
