I add 2 heaping tablespoons of hot dog relish and a teaspoon of sweet barbecue sauce, no peppers but I do use all your ingredients.

This is very close to my "recipe" but I never measure, and instead of lemon juice/white vinegar I use apple cider vinegar. Also I usually add a little black pepper. Everyone loves it.

I really don't get why people buy Manwich. This is literally one of the first recipes I ever learned.

Yes please, don't use the canned stuff, it's full of chemicals that are bad for you. Also, check the ingredients on your BBQ sauce and ketchup: do not buy/use if it contains high fructose corn syrup (HFCS).

Added 1/2 tablespoon chili - little cayenne - dash of Worcestershire, OUTSTANDING! Can add a dab of BBQ sauce. It is my favorite "go to" recipe for something quick, easy & delicious.

I had a strong yearning for sloppy joes tonight but I ran out of my "Manwich." Googled a few recipes and this one seemed simpler and less complex than others I saw. It turned out great. I didn't add as many onions as it called for but in hindsight, I wish I had added more. It was a bit sweet so maybe next time I may sub 1/2 cup tomatoe sauce/paste in place of 1/2 cup of Ketchup. Thanks for the recipe. I will make it again.

My family isn't a big fan for sloppy joes. I'm making it again tonight. Thanks for the recipe!

My 8 year old son loved it and devoured three sandwiches. Never buying canned sloppy joe again. I also added a squirt of BBQ sauce, but feel it made it a bit sweet.

Great recipe! I however didn't have all the ingredients. I used celery instead of onion, left out the lemon juice, and only had a half cup of ketchup. I substituted pace Picante sauce (medium but anything would work)for the other half cup ketchup! I was a little worried but it turned out AMAZING!
