BUTTERSCOTCH CARAMELS 
1/2 c. plus dash corn syrup
1 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar
3 tbsp. water
1 tsp. vanilla

Add all ingredients except vanilla. Boil until soft ball. Add vanilla and put in 8 x 8 inch butter pan.

Put cold water on small saucer and add a few drops. If mixtures forms a soft ball it's ready.
