COUNTRY FRIED STEAK 
4 cube steaks
3 eggs, beaten
1 c. flour
2 tsp. pepper
1 to 2 c. lard
1 1/2 c. milk

Dip steaks in eggs. Mix flour, pepper, and dip steak in flour. Place in egg and then in flour again. Put in hot skillet and fry.

GRAVY:

2 tbsp. of the chicken fat
2 tbsp. flour
A little milk a little at a time
