SUE'S SHEPHERD'S PIE | |
6 medium potatoes, diced 2 lb. ground beef 1/4 cup chopped onions 1 (15 oz.) can corn or peas and carrots, drained 1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained (optional) 1 tsp. Gravy Master 1/4 cup water 2 tbsp. butter 1/4 cup milk (or more) 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 2 tbsp. cooking oil (whatever one you like) Boil potatoes until soft. In a frying pan put a little oil and sauté chopped onions and brown ground beef together. Add mushrooms, Gravy Master and water to the frying pan. Get a casserole dish. Pour ingredients from the frying pan to the casserole dish. Add vegetables. Make mashed potatoes with butter, milk, salt and pepper. Spread on top of casserole. Bake at 350°F for 1/2 hour or more till you see the edges getting brown. Submitted by: Susan Pavao |
