OVEN BAKED BASS 
1 lb. fish
1/2 lb. bacon
1/2 onion
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. paprika
1/2 c. water

Place five slices of bacon in a bake pan of desired. Place one tbsp. full of butter in pan. Lay fish down in pan. Sprinkle about 1/2 tsp. of garlic salt, 1/2 tsp. of pepper, 1/4 tsp. paprika, 1 tbsp. of butter over fish.

Place five slices of bacon on top of fish. Pour 1/2 cup of water in baking pan. Cover top. Bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes then serve.

I followed the above recipe yesterday for baking hybrid striper bass and it turned out perfect. Since the recipe mentions half of onion but doesn't comment on what to do with it, I sliced it thinly and placed it on top of the bacon covered bass. I also removed the foil covering and set the broiler for 425°F and broiled the bass for an additional 8 minutes to give it a "browning effect" ..This worked out perfect and I will definitely try this recipe again.
