“KEN'S DRUNKEN MONGOLIAN-STYLE STEAK MARINADE” IS IN:

KEN'S DRUNKEN MONGOLIAN-STYLE
STEAK MARINADE

As simple as slipping on a banana peel...

1/4 cup Stolichnaya vodka
1/4 cup Wild Turkey bourbon
5 tbsp. FRANK'S® Red Hot hot sauce
1 tbsp. dark soy sauce
dash of salt (to taste)*
1 1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. coarse prepared mustard (Grey Poupon works well)
4 cloves crushed garlic
1 tsp. brown sugar
pulled (off the stem) parsley leaves, chopped very fine

Note: WATCH OUT for salt content as soy sauce is LOADED with the stuff.

Mix all ingredients well with a whisk in a large PLASTIC bowl to make sure the alcohol blends evenly with the heavier stuff. Then take you most favorite cuts of beef (A couple of 12 oz. NY strips work well, as this marinade is good for 4 of these, just double everything for 8 steaks, etc.) and drop then in and watch them get happy... just kiddin'.

After you place them in the marinade, don't be afraid of gettin' dirty and toss the beef up in your heavenly sauce... its best if the meat is pounded with a good tenderizer beforehand... Psst!! Squeezing a bit of lemon juice on the beef prior to smashing it helps to break down the proteins a little faster.

After you give the meat a good tossing, let it sit (covered of course) in the refrigerator at LEAST 6 hours, but overnight works best.

Then when your fire is burnin' bright, drop these bad boys on the grill and get ready for a little taste of my kitchen!!

And another tip: Carefully, with a long brush, use the leftover marinade on the steaks as they cook up just for an added bit of drunken giddyness!!
