RON'S BARBECUE SAUCE
1 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup ketchup (Hunts)
1/4 cup white vinegar
1/4 cup molasses (Grandma's)
3 shots Jack Daniels whiskey (I use Old No. 7)
1/8 cup honey
2 tbsp. Dijon mustard
1 tbsp. maple syrup
1 tsp. liquid smoke
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. onion powder
pinch of salt
pinch of freshly ground pepper

Place all in a glass jar and stir together with a wooden spoon. Let set for at least 1 hour to cure.

This recipe makes 3 cups of sauce for use in meatloaf or on baked chicken.

Note: Will caramelize to a sweet dark coating.

Am going to try this - on baked wings first. Do you think it would also work on country style pork ribs? This has fantastic ingredients. Just need to get Grandma's molasses & the Old #7. If this works like I am hoping - will be using for my fall/winter favorites. Thank you for submitting. PLEASE submit any other great recipes you might have laying around...
