SUSAN'S EASY DUMP CAKE 
1 box yellow cake mix (your choice)
1 cup (2 sticks) butter
1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling (Comstock)
1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks with juice
whipped topping, if desired (Cool Whip)

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Melt butter in a microwave safe bowl. Stir cake mix and nuts into butter and set aside.

Empty pie filling into a 13x9-inch baking pan. Empty pineapple with juice (reserve a small portion of the juice) into the baking pan.

Mix pie filling and pineapple together and spread over bottom of pan. Add the reserved juice to the cake mix and spoon cake mix over the top of the fruit, completely covering the fruit.

Bake at 350°F for 30 to 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the fruit is bubbling.

Serve warm or cold with whipped topping. Enjoy!
