SUE'S OATMEAL COOKIES 
FROSTING:

6 tbsp. butter
2 c. powdered sugar
2 tbsp. liquid coffee
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon

Mix until smooth and frost cookies while still warm.

COOKIES:

1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3 c. oatmeal
1/2 c. coconut (opt.)
1 c. dates (opt.)
1 c. chopped nuts (opt.)

Chill dough 2 hours. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Yield: 4 dozen. Frost while warm.
