ITALIAN WEDDING SOUP 
2 qt. chicken broth
Salt to taste
1/2 lb. ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 egg
1/2 c. bread crumbs
1/2 c. raw rice

Mix salted ground beef with onions, egg and bread crumbs. Shape in small meat balls. Drop into boiling stock. Add rice. Season to taste. Cook 1 hour. If meat is very greasy, cool soup and remove fat from top. The flavor gets better when it's reheated anyway.
