QUICK AND EASY CHICKEN CASSEROLE 
1 onion (chopped)
1/2 stick butter
2 cans white meat chicken (drained)
1 pkg. egg noodles (cooked)
1 can cream mushroom soup
1 can cream chicken soup
1/2 c. milk
Salt & pepper
1 pkg. grated cheddar cheese

Saute onion in butter. Add to soups and milk. Stir. In separate casserole dish add noodles and chicken. Combine soup mixture to noodles and chicken. Stir until mixed thoroughly.

Bake, covered, at 325 degrees for 20 minutes. Remove cover, sprinkle cheese on top, bake 10 minutes longer.

This recipe is confusing. A package of noodles, what size package??? I was thinking okay, I haven't bought noodles in a while so maybe they only come in one size package. Then I looked on down and it said 1 pkg. grated cheddar cheese, I know that comes in more than one size package so I decided to forget trying the recipe.

It says to sprinkle cheese over the top so if you follow directions to do that it doesn't matter what size pkg u use...

for the noodles, it wont matter one way or another if u make an 8oz pkg or a 16oz pkg so i would say make as much noodles as u want to eat. Mpst of the noodle pkgs are 1 lb. I don't think I've ever seen a pkg of noodles for 1/2 lb, or 1-1/2 lb?

Very easy to make. I didn't have egg noodles so I used bowtie noodles. I also didn't add salt and pepper, I let the family add their own salt and pepper to taste. I did not use a whole bag of cheese, just enough to cover the top. I will make this one again. I may try with egg noodles next.
