2 (3 oz. ea.) cans tuna
real mayonnaise (as much as you like in your tuna salad)
3 tbsp. sweet relish
1/2 red onion, diced small
pinch salt + pepper
4 slices American cheese
4 slices white bread
4 tbsp. (1/2 stick) butter, divided

Mix first 5 ingredients together to make tuna salad.

Place a piece of cheese on each side of bread and top with 1/2 tuna salad mix to make a sandwich.

In a frying pan on medium heat melt a pad of butter. Brown one side of sandwich until cheese is melted. Repeat with other side of sandwich using another pad of butter.

Makes 2 sandwiches.
