STRAWBERRY RHUBARB CRISP | |
6-8 c. diced rhubarb 1 sm. pkg. strawberry Jello 1/2 c. sugar 1 c. water 1 white cake mix 1/2 c. melted butter Optional - 1 c. chopped strawberries Use a 9 x 13 inch pan. Place rhubarb in the bottom of pan. Sprinkle Jello, sugar and water on top. In separate bowl mix the cake mix with the melted butter, then crumble on top of rhubarb mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour until top browns. Serve with Cool Whip or ice cream. If adding chopped strawberries - stir in with the rhubarb at the beginning. Or use raspberry Jello and optional raspberries for a variation. |
