BROCCOLI, RICE AND CHEESE
CASSEROLE
 
Makes a 2 quart casserole.

8 oz. Cheese Whiz
2 pkg. frozen chopped broccoli, cooked
3 c. cooked rice (not minute)
1 c. chopped celery
1 c. chopped onion
8 oz. can mushroom bits (including stems & water)
2 cans cream of chicken soup (any cream soup works fine)

Saute celery and onions in 3 tablespoons butter in a large fry pan. Add mushrooms and 2 cans of soup. Mix together, then add broccoli and rice. Mix all together and put in a greased casserole. Drop spoonfuls of Cheese Whiz over top. Put in a 350 degree oven until Cheese Whiz melts. Knife the cheese through (like marble cake). Sprinkle bread crumbs on top. Return to oven and heat until bubbly (about 30 minutes).
