STOVE-TOP (OR OVEN) MEATLOAF | |
1 onion, chopped 1 1/2 lb. ground beef 1 cup uncooked quick rolled oats 1 cup (8 oz. can) tomato sauce 1 egg 1 tsp. salt 1/4 cup water (if stove-top method) Mix all ingredients except water. Shape into to loaves. Stove-top Method: Place in fry pan with water. Bring to boil Cover tightly and boil gently about 1 hour until meat is done. Oven Method: Place in cake pan and bake approximately 1 hour at 350 degrees F. (moderate oven) or until meat is done. Submitted by: CM |
