EASY TUNA CASSEROLE
1 pkg. egg noodles (I use Dutch)
1 celery stalk (chopped)
1/2 medium onion (chopped)
2 (6 oz. ea.) cans tuna (drained)
2 (10.5 oz. ea.) cans Cream of Mushroom Soup
3/4 (14.5 oz.) can mixed peas and carrots (drained)
1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese
1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese

Note: 1 pkg. frozen (thawed) mixed peas and carrots may be substituted for canned.

Boil noodles as directed on package, adding onion and celery the last 1-2 minutes. Drain noodles and add tuna, soup and vegetables, stirring until well blended.

Spread into a 13x9-inch baking pan, spreading cheese on top.

Bake in oven at 350°F until melted.

It's easy and simple. I substituted one can of cream of mushroom with cream of chicken, used only cheddar cheese and added sour cream to the mixture to make it creamier. Good!

I made this today on one of the hottest days of the year but my daughter was craving Tuna Noodle Casserole. She loved it! The whole family loved it. I just added about a cup of green beans but didn't have the Mozzarella cheese so I used 2 cups of Jack cheese and sprinkled it on top and baked it for 20 minutes and it was delicious!! This recipe is a keeper.

Love this recipe. Very similar to my Moms. The only difference is she used Velveeta. Cut into small cubes with some milk mixed in with the soup to have for the sauce. Once that melted then she would add the noodle mix to it. I like to make it with all kinds of different cheeses, and mix in a dash of tarragon. I also like to sprinkle on some fried onions the last 5 min. or some crumpled up chips. Yummy!

I made this recipe many many years ago before my oldest son passed away. He said no one can make this tuna casserole like you mom. So during lent, no meat for us. Friday I will make this using broccoli for the vegetables, and no onions, I have grand babies now and they try to be picky eaters...

I made this using the defrosted frozen peas and carrots. I personally rate it a 3, but my husband said it was okay, although on the bland side (hence the rating of 4). If I were to make it again, I would add about half a cup of milk to help make it a little moister. I would also add some garlic or onion salt and some pepper. My grown son thought it was entirely too bland and would eat a sample.

This recipe was delicious but instead of tuna I used canned chicken breast. My son in law hates tuna but the chicken was very good.

I used this recipe several months ago and it was delicious! However, I added garlic powder, black pepper to spice up the flavor. My husband loved it(I don't like noodles but I make it for him 2-3 times a year. I just made it again but in addition to the above, I added mushrooms and a little more than 1/2 cup of sour cream. It smells delicious so I'm sure hubby will love it
