OLD FASHION POUND CAKE 
1/2 lb. butter
2 c. sugar
6 extra lg. or jumbo eggs
2 c. all-purpose flour
2 tbsp. vanilla or almond imitation extract or 1 of each, mixed

In large bowl, cream butter, add sugar, 1/2 cup at a time. Add eggs, one at a time, mix and whip. Add flour, a little at a time. Mix and whip, add vanilla and/or almond extract and blend in. Pour mixture in a greased, floured, bundt pan. Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees. Cool, remove from pan and serve.
