ITALIAN SAUSAGE DISH 
6 sweet Italian sausages, cut in small rounds
2 lg. onions, sliced thin
1 lg. can sweet peas, drained
1 lg. can tomatoes, or 6 fresh pureed tomatoes

Cook sausage in skillet over low heat until done. Remove from pan. Place onions in pan and cook slowly until soft and clear. Pour off any grease. Add cooked sausage, peas, and tomatoes. Heat until hot. Serve on side or on top of cooked rice.
