PORK CHOP SUEY | |
1 lb. pork lean, diced 2 c. cut-up celery 1 c. diced onion 1 green pepper, cut up 1 can bean sprouts 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms Brown pork in enough shortening to fry. When browned, add 2 cups of water and allow to simmer about 40 minutes. Add celery, onions, green pepper, season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook until tender. Add drained sprouts and undrained mushrooms. Thicken with: 3 tbsp. cornstarch 3 tbsp. soy sauce 3 tbsp. molasses Serve over cooked rice or chow mein noodles. Serves 6. |
