ORIGINAL MERINGUES 
3 egg whites
3 to 4 tbsp. sugar

Preheat oven to slow (225°F).

In a medium bowl, whisk the eggs until white peaks form. It should be pretty thick. Add sugar in, FOLDING a tablespoon at a time.

On a baking rack, place aluminum foil on. With a spoon and the whisk, plop a little bit of the meringue mixture on the sheet.

Bake at 225°F for 1 hour and 20 minutes to 2 hours.

Variation: Add some food coloring to match the Holiday or season.
