SAUSAGE BREAKFAST CASSEROLE | |
1 reg. size box pork stuffing mix 1 lb. bulk pork sausage 1 1/2 (6 oz.) Longhorn cheese (shredded) 6 eggs, beaten 2 c. half and half 1 tsp. salt Spread stuffing in buttered 13 x 9 x 2 inch dish, set aside. Cook sausage until browned and starting to crumble, drain well. Spoon over stuffing. Sprinkle cheese over sausage. Combine eggs and half and half and salt. Mix well and pour over cheese. Cover casserole and chill overnight (can be made 2 days ahead). Before baking remove from refrigerator 15 minutes before and let sit. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Serves 6 to 8. |
