FAST & EASY CHICKEN & NOODLES | |
1-12 oz bag egg noodles 2 tablespoons butter or olive oil spices (your preference) 7 oz cut chicken breast in foil bag or 2 small cans chicken 2 cans cream of chicken soup 1 can cream of mushroom soup Stove Top preparation: Start boiling noodles (direction on package). Add butter or olive oil in a separate pan, add chicken and spices. Heat chicken; (if you are using raw chicken let it cook fully). Add soup to chicken and spices and simmer over low heat. After noodles are cooked, drain and add to chicken and soup, mix. Cook's Note: If you don't have egg noodles on hand, try tossing angel hair directly into the soup! Suggested seasonings for this soup are: (one of the following or as many as you like) fresh garlic, minced, onion, chopped baby carrots, chopped celery, green onion, scallions, minced fresh parsley and a pinch of rubbed sage. If you are using chicken breast, don't allow the broth to boil; just simmer, adding the chicken breast last and cooking only until done. This recipe is great!
