MINCEMEAT FRUIT CAKE | |
2 1/2 c. sifted flour 1 tbsp. baking soda 2 eggs, lightly beaten 1 (28 oz.) jar mincemeat 1 1/3 c. (1 can) Borden's Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk 2 c. (1 lb. jar) mixed candied fruit 1 c. walnuts, chopped Butter 9-inch tube pan or springform pan. Line with wax paper. Butter again. Sift flour and baking soda. Combine eggs, mincemeat, milk, fruit and nuts. Fold in dry ingredients. Pour into pan. Bake in slow 300 degree oven for 2 hours. Cool. Turn out. |
