1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin
2 c. boiling water
1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen whole strawberries, without sugar
1 (1 lb. 4 oz.) pkg. Oreo chocolate sandwich cookies
1 (8 oz.) container whipped topping, thawed
3 tbsp. butter, melted

Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add frozen strawberries and mix well. Place in refrigerator. Crush the cookies, reserving 1 cup for topping. Melt butter and mix in well with cookie crumbs. Press firmly into bottom of 9 x 13 inch pan.

When gelatin is partially set, fold in the whipped topping. The frozen strawberries will make the gelatin set quickly. Pour gelatin mixture over cookie crust in pan and spread evenly. Sprinkle reserved cup of cookie crumbs over top of gelatin mixture. Refrigerate until completely set.
