I give this one five stars, because after coming home from a long day of work it was extremely easy to make. My two sons loved the dish so in my eyes it was an success.

I wish I would of read the reviews before doing this, but second time making this dish and I agree with the other James. Kids loved it, but might have to add some things to it. Biggest reason I love hotdishes.

I added a can of kidney beans to this recipe and my family loved it. I am sure it would lend itself well to many kinds of vegetables.

Instead of using rice I've used the rice side dishes instead.Make everything the same. You may way to add 1/2 cup to a cup of extra water depending on how much you make. I also add different veggies to it as well. Enjoy

"Mom, I volunteered you to make a casserole for tonight's PTA dinner." Quick, easy, and good. Used onion power instead of onions, and added a can of cut green beans and coarse ground pepper. Thanks for sharing this recipe.

Very tasty but I doubled the soup soy sauce mixture and added an extra soup can of water. Also added fresh mushrooms. Had to cook it an additional 20 minutes.

This was just okay. It was basically hamburger helper. The rice didn't cook completely & flavor was bland. I don't understand the 5 star reviews. I prepared this exactly as written.

 David Heise (Minnesota) says:
Anyone thinking it's too bland might adding 1 or 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce? I think hamburger helper is too loaded with bad things. Just a thought.
