LEMON CHEESE BARS 
Crust:

1 pkg. yellow cake mix (with pudding)
1 egg
1/3 cup oil

Mix dry cake mix, egg and oil until crumbly. Reserve 1 cup. Pat remaining mixture lightly in ungreased 13x9-inch pan. Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes.

Lemon Topping:

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup sugar
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 egg

Meanwhile, beat cream cheese, sugar, lemon juice and egg until light and smooth. Spread over baked layer. Sprinkle with reserved mixture. Bake 15 minutes longer. Cool, then cut into bars.

Makes 24 bars.
