I was looking for something different to fix with Chicken so I did a search and found this recipe. I just so happen to have some Lipton Onion-Mushroom Soup Mix in my cabinet so I started to fix it asking my husband, "you didn't have any plans for this chicken did you?" He said just to eat it. I made a side dish of mashed potato's and creamed corn. It turned out awesome and so tender.

Quick and very tasty!! Instead of pouring the gravy (broth mixture) on the chicken afterwards, I added the chicken back in the pot with the gravy and let it simmer just a little bit more. Thus, giving it a truly smothered effect. Delicious! Served over rice with corn.
