CAULIFLOWER-BROCCOLI-SPINACH
CREAM SOUP
 
1/4 c. chopped onion
4 c. cauliflower, cut up sm.
4 c. broccoli, cut up sm.
1 c. chopped cabbage
1 c. chopped spinach (frozen)
1/2 c. chopped fine celery
1 1/2 c. American cheese, cut up
2 c. milk
1/2 c. cream
1 stick butter
2 chicken bouillon cubes
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
3 tbsp. cornstarch dissolved in 1/4 c. water
1 tsp. salt Pepper to taste

Put all ingredients in kettle and simmer for 2 hours or until vegetables are tender. Be careful not to scorch.

Hmmm... put all ingredients in crock pot... but there's apparently not enough liquid after a 1/2 hour at "high" level... I'm going to add 2 c. water...and see what happens... since it's going to be a long crock pot simmer It'll just reduce over time if it's too much liquid. Will report back.

I agree Rick. It needed more liquid, but instead of water I added more milk and cream. turned out great
