ORANGE CUPCAKES 
1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
3/4 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. plain flour
1 c. chopped nuts
2 c. (white or golden) raisins

Beat sugar and butter, add egg one at a time, mix flour, soda, nuts and raisins. Add to cake mixture alternating with milk. Put in lined cupcake pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.

ICING:

Juice of 2 oranges
Juice of 1 lemon
Use grated rinds of both
1 c. sugar (granulated)

Mix together (don't cook) and spoon on cakes while hot. Makes 40.
