SMOKESTACK COLE SLAW 
2 heads cabbage (4 1/2 lb.)
1/2 med. onion
1 lg. carrot
2 tbsp. whole celery seed
1 1/4 c. sugar
6 tbsp. white vinegar
1 qt. mayonnaise

Mix together celery seed, sugar, vinegar, and mayonnaise. Add the above mixture to the vegetables that have been chopped fine or chopped in a blender and drained. Refrigerate overnight.
