CHEESE BURGER CASSEROLE | |
1 lb. ground beef 1 sm. onion, chopped 1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce 1/4 c. catsup 1/8 tsp. pepper 5 slices American cheese 1 can (8 oz.) refrigerated biscuits In large skillet, break up beef and brown with onion. Drain off fat. Stir in tomato sauce, catsup and pepper; heat until bubbly. Grease an 8 inch square baking pan. Spread half the meat mixture in pan; top with a layer of four cheese slices, then cover with remaining meat. Arrange biscuits around edge; place fifth cheese slice in center. Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown. Serves 4-6. |
